What we expect... (Essential Functions)

  • Prepare accounting related entries, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and journal entries
  • Complete bank reconciliations for a variety of entities and accounts
  • Assist in managing cash balances within online treasury product
  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
  • Responsible for the preparation of internal financial statements for multiple companies
  • Compile and distribute intercompany transactions to subsidiary companies
  • Maintain fixed asset software and related entries and reconciliations
  • Gather financial information from subsidiary companies for monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting
  • Assist with compiling tax related information for federal and state income tax returns and property tax returns
  • Provide support for the annual financial statement audit and any other periodic reviews and inspections
  • Support other areas of department as needed
  • Work on special projects as necessary

 

Who we want… (Requirements)

 

A bachelors’ degree in accounting/finance/business and three (3) years of experience in financial accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel. CMIC experience a plus.

 

Must be physically present in the Lexington office. Potential hybrid work schedule.
