Gray Construction is hiring a Job Cost Coordinator to join the team in our Lexington, KY office.

Who we want… (Requirements)

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of accounting experience in the construction industry, or two years of related experience.  Must be physically present in the Lexington office with potential hybrid remote work schedule. 

 

Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, accurate data skills, have excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal team members.  Construction job cost, CMiC software, and Procore software experience a plus.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Assign and set-up construction project numbers and appropriate cost codes, with communication to appropriate team members
  • Review all required vendor documents for accuracy to setup and update vendor information in accounting system with accurate input
  • Complete requests for new project cost codes and sub jobs per current cost code structure
  • Process commitments including subcontracts, purchase orders and consultant agreements in accounting system and integration with Procore and forward to project team
  • Provide support for Job Cost audits and project-specific cost reporting requirements
  • Assist with prequalification general information reviews
  • Support timecard auditing and related payroll processes asrequested
  • Maintain confidentiality of all team member records
  • Assist with continuous improvement special projects as needed
  • Support Project Teams as needed for various accounting processes
  • Other duties as assigned
