The Marketing team at Gray Construction if looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to complement its team of professionals in Lexington KY.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Should bring a self-starter mindset, taking ownership of their work and confidently driving projects forward while staying aligned with team goals.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for key business units, helping to translate stakeholder needs into effective marketing deliverables.
  • Oversee and help facilitate the full proposal and content development process—from scheduling marketing resources and collaborating with business development and operations teams, to ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, final materials.
  • Write, edit, and tailor messaging across customer-facing and internal formats — including digital campaigns, sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content — ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and brand.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns and workflows within HubSpot, including lead nurturing, segmentation, reporting, and CRM integration.
  • Help shape marketing strategy by identifying cross-functional themes, aligning content and campaigns with larger organizational goals, and proactively proposing new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, business development, creative, etc.) to align messaging and support business objectives.
  • Manage specific projects within the marketing plan, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget

 

Who we want… (Requirements)

 

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a marketing or related role.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot Marketing Hub (or related platform) including campaign automation, reporting, and CRM integration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience leading proposals or RFQ/RFP responses, in a professional service, construction, or industrial context.
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in the construction industry, industrial services, AEC, or manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated strength in copywriting for B2B marketing.
  • Familiarity with MarTech tools including but not limited to, Asana, Monday, SharePoint, Microsoft Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.
